in which I window shop and drool all over the floor

Just kidding. Kinda.

I love my husband dearly, but one of the things about him that truly makes me crazy is his gift shopping technique. 

I know he means well, but for each gift-giving occasion over the past several years, he repeats the same process: go out for a few hours on the day before the event, drive around, visit a few stores, see item, reject item, repeat. Come home empty handed with a speech about how hard I am to shop for and how nothing he saw was good enough. Then he'll go to the grocery store and come back and cook a special dinner in my honor.

That's very sweet, but clearly I have not trained this man well. I'm not really that hard to shop for; there's actually a running list in my head of things that I want and need. I guess I just haven't done a great job of verbalizing that list to him. 

My birthday is coming up next month and I don't want this routine to continue. So I've decided to start an official, regularly updated list. Firstly, so he can reference it at will and secondly, so I can keep track of the items I'm lusting after in case anyone else asks (I have an unfortunate tendency to draw a complete  blank when directly asked). 

Most of the time I shop for Will, or things for the house, or something we need. I never get a chance to shop just for me, for something I don't need, just because. And now since I'm sure you're just dying of curiosity...here's my list.

Number One on my list is the complete Twilight Saga...I've been waiting for it for almost a year now.

There's lots of items on Etsy I've been drooling over.

I absolutely adore Moriah Ann's fabric knot necklace's at Josiah's Nest. It doesn't matter which one, I love them all.

I really love the song "You are my Sunshine" and I sing it to Will every day. It's become our special song, and when I saw this sunshine necklace from Angel Face Designs I had to have it! (And actually, I'd love anything with those lyrics on it.)
