Mirror, mirror

Last week, I bought a cheap $5 full length mirror from Target. In the week that I've had it, it's become one of the best purchases I've made in years.

Since we moved into this house 2+ years ago, I haven't had a full length mirror. The only ones we had were waist high and above. You couldn't see anything below that and you couldn't tell how an outfit really looked.

I'll tell you a secret: when I was pregnant I got angry red stretch marks all down the back of my thighs. & for the past two years I've been really reluctant to wear shorts or cute little short skirts for fear of exposing their ugliness to the world. Reluctant as in I haven't.

Thanks to my awesome new mirror, I can now see the back of my legs. And guess what? NO stretch marks! Not a single one. Oh happy day!

So now I don't have to worry about horror of flashing them at the world. I can't wait to restock my wardrobe with cute shorts and bright skirts. It's too bad that summer is nearly over now, but luckily we can wear those things year round here on Florida!

Thank you, little mirror. I love you.

  2. Happy to hear you can wear shorts again....we sacrifice so much to be Moms...LOL, I'm even happier to be a Grand Mom even though my shorts
wearing days are gone for good.

  4. LUCKY!!! I wish my stretch marks would go away. They have lightened, but not enough for my liking! Dang. Nice blog you have going on over here. I think I have to get on that running thing you speak of. Thanks SO much for visiting me as well :)
